You may recognize these cars from the background of a few other shots of my own ride I’ve put up so far. These beauties have both undergone some serious changes over the past winter. The first – the Legacy – is riding on a set of coilovers and 18×9 +35…Rota G-Force in Steel Gray. Owner rolled and pulled the fenders himself at all four corners, and even with maxed camber there’s still a bit of rubbage, but it’ll get sorted. Legacies are never easy to work with! Full marks for effort AND results on this one.
You’ve gotta love the profile of a slammed Legacy – this one is pretty much as slammed as you’d want to get, it looks menacing when the wheel sit just snugly enough inside the front fenders.
I’m always bangin’ on about the wrong fitment crew AKA the “wheel bearing wait-listers” but man, this fitment couldn’t be more right!
I rode in this car and actually I was surprised by how comfortable it was on the so-so surfaced road – even being slammed to the floor on it’s suspension. The fenders, however, were starting to complain
Nothing in this life comes easy, and if you wanna rock this sorta look you gotta be prepared to make it work!
This car has some further plans going on and I hope to shoot it lots (hint hint). I’ll be following it like it was my own former Legacy, which having seen what can be done with I now miss more than ever.
