Time To Make Good Use Of That Printer At Work

Look, your work probably wastes tonnes of money and paper every year printing off TPS reports or some other banal crap anyways, you might as well blend in some stuff that’s really going to make worthwhile use of all those trees. Check out some of these ridiculously cool papercraft cars made by people with a lot of time, carpal tunnel syndrome, and probably near-sightedness. Oh and a bucket of awesome. And hell, it’s a lot cheaper than going the diecast collectible route – trust me.

This collection of Astons is pretty intense, probably not where you’d want to start off… but definitely impressive. If you have more time and patience than me, look here for the PDFs.

Yamaha has been offering enthusiasts Papercraft projects of their bikes (and other projects) for a while, and they’re definitely a step above some of the other DIY templates I’ve seen. Check em here.

NETSCAVATING: Stickerbombed Console Looks Minty Fresh

I’ve seen this done before, but this one really works for me! A forum member on iwsti.com (Subaru STI central) decided to stickerbomb his centre console, but it’s been done properly and with some truly decent style. Might be a bit of a fad at the moment, but I’m really feeling this look. Not sure how distracting that’d be though, might even making figuring out the nav a bit of a challenge!

Clearly Russian police don’t watch YouTube in search of street racing to prosecute like England’s finest do. That, or if they do they’re as curious to see these two cars duke it out in the rain as we all are. DragTimes.info has created this entertaining video pitting the highly strung Audi R8 V10 against the… highly strung… Audi RS6 (v10, twin turbo, space shuttle levels of thrust). Interesting to see how the heavier RS6 keeps pulling on the R8 and eventually wins every race – likely due to a combination of the RS6′s more even F/R AWD distribution (the R8 is actually substantially more RWD biased) being an advantage in the rain. That and turbos. Turbos solve everything.

Turn it up, and if you can, turn it to HD!
